1. Heat Pump Rebates (No Energy Assessment Required)
You can now get substantial rebates on energy-efficient heat pumps without the hassle or cost of a home energy assessment. The amount you get back depends on your current primary heating source:
If you currently heat with Natural Gas (Enbridge Customers):
- Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pumps: You can receive $500 per ton, up to a maximum of $2,000 back.
- Ground Source (Geothermal) Heat Pumps: You can receive up to $3,000 back.
If you currently heat with Electricity, Oil, Propane, or Wood:
- Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pumps: You can receive $1,250 per ton, up to a maximum of $7,500 back.
- Ground Source (Geothermal) Heat Pumps: You can receive $2,000 per ton, up to a maximum of $12,000 back.
(Note: If you are looking to rent your equipment instead of buying, you can still qualify for up to $2,000 for air source and $3,000 for ground source heat pumps).
Important Requirement: Pre-approval is mandatory before any installation takes place. Because we are a participating HVAC contractor, Delta Air Systems will submit the pre-installation application for you and ensure your new system meets all the technical requirements.
2. Smart Thermostat Rebates
Upgrading your thermostat is one of the easiest ways to save on your energy bills, and there are currently great incentives to help you make the switch.
- $100 Instant Rebate: You can qualify for a $100 discount on eligible models from brands like ecobee, Google Nest, Honeywell Home, and Copeland Sensi.
- Limited-Time Offers: Depending on the time of year, there are also brand-specific discounts (for example, up to $40 off select Google Nest models during promotional periods).
- Peak Perks Bonus: Once your thermostat is installed, you can enroll in the Peak Perks program to receive an additional $75 just for signing up, plus $20 each year after.
Eligibility: You must be an Enbridge gas customer or connected to the Ontario electricity grid, and you cannot have claimed a smart thermostat rebate through these programs previously.
3. Manufacturer Rebates
Brands like Lennox, Trane, and Carrier run their own private promotions to encourage homeowners to choose high-efficiency units.
- Tiered Savings: These are almost always “the more you buy, the more you save.” For example, a mid-range system might have a lower rebate, while top-of-the-line comfort systems can offer rebates ranging from $1,000 to $1,800.
- Seasonal Windows: These typically run during “shoulder seasons” (Spring and Fall). When timed right, we can often stack these on top of your Home Renovation Savings rebates!
4. Company-Specific Rebates
At Delta Air Systems, we occasionally offer our own exclusive promotions or “instant rebates” that are applied directly to your invoice. These can include:

- Bundle discounts (e.g., buying heating and cooling systems together).
