Since our inception, Delta has focused on the importance of air flow and how it affects utility costs and comfort for the homeowner. Hence the “Air Systems” in our name.
For most, air flow is seldom a consideration in the proper operation of your furnace or air conditioner replacement, but it should be. We’ve always understood the importance and necessity on ensuring proper air flow. Each supply and return air grille requires a specific, measured amount of air through it to complete the proper comfort cycle for both heating and cooling inside the home. A proper cycle should increase efficiency and longevity of your system while improving the comfort level with more balanced temperatures.
That’s why we’ve demanded the highest quality in terms of design and fabrication of duct and ducted fittings from our installation department.
Properly fitted and designed sheet metal fittings and ducting are key to optimizing your air flow, as they are created specifically for your home’s heating and cooling needs. If the system’s ductwork is improperly sized or fitted, it can restrict air flow to areas that need it the most, and over deliver in areas that don’t have the same load levels.
Over the years, the amount of affordable and properly engineered duct and fittings available to our customers has dwindled. Outsourced duct is more often than not too thin, improperly fabricated and improperly dimensioned. Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm in duct for most homes today.
As our installation department already has the seasoned and tested sheet metal professionals, our decision to create our own fittings and duct in-house was an easy one. We cut out the middle man and now use our own exceptionally talented pros to fabricate a product that far outclasses anything available in the field today. Each and every job is custom tailored to meet your homes specific needs.
We’re all very proud of the improved quality of sheet metal fittings and ducting that we can now provide on all of our installations. A properly designed and installed home comfort system benefits both homeowners and our business as it creates noticeable improvements in comfort, as well as reductions in noise and utility costs.
Creating this new shop required a concerted effort by our installation employees. We especially appreciate the efforts of our In-House Sheet Metal “whisperer” Brian Chambers. Brian has over 40 years in the trade and has been the guiding force in setting up and running our new sheet metal shop. Great job Brian and crew!
