Initial Contact

You call, text or email us!
Our team connects your call to a comfort advisor.

Connection With A Comfort Advisor

You explain you situation, priorities and needs to the comfort advisor.
The comfort advisor then sets up your complimentary in-home consultation. Visiting your home is necessary because we need to measure your space so that we know exactly how many feet of venting, wiring, etc. is needed to quote you accurately.

In-Home Consultation

The day of your consultation our team takes measurements and pictures documenting your current set up and needs for the job file.
Why do you need measurements and pictures of my home?
We need measurements and pictures from you initial consultation so that we can easily make customize all ductwork in our shop. Many other HVAC companies will create ductwork in your laneway on the day of. We do not do that here at Delta. We take pictures and measurements in advance so that all we need to do on installation day is show up and instal your new system. All of our ductwork is done in our Delta warehouse in Waterloo before arriving to your house. There is no noisy metal work being done in your basement or driveway on the day of. We like to keep our onsite work as clean as possible to avoid inconvenience, noise, and not make a mess in your laneway or basement creating metalwork. In total, your consultation will take between fifteen minutes to an hour from start to completion.

Measurements and Pictures

You show us your current set up!
We measure and take pictures of everything that we will need to complete the job!

Quotation

After we visit you home, we will provide you with a quote based on information collected in the consultation. The quote contains Good, Better, and Best Value Options based on your budget and comfort needs. The option will vary based on brand, quality, efficiency, comfort, noise, and additional upgrades that can be added optionally, such as extended warranties. We also will share with you a list of all government and manufacturer rebates available to you. Each quote includes several payment options. Outright purchase, financing, rental etc. At Delta we have no hidden charges. The final cost of our job file is always confirmed in advance of project completion – never after.
What if an unforeseen circumstances occurs?
Delta will never proceed on any job without consulting you. We will always explain if something does cime up, educate, share all of your options with you, and only proceed with your approval. At Delta you always come first.

Scheduling Installation

Once we welcome you to our family here at Delta, our installation dispatcher will call you and schedule the instal date. We always schedule for more time than need to ensure a quality instal is completed.

Installation Day

On installation day your installer will arrive. They will put down drop sheets as needed in your home. The lead installer will walk you through the job before the team begins to work. Once the job is complete, the installer will go over your new system and how it operates with you. If you have no additional questions the team will complete clean up and leave. A sales rep will call you and follow up with you after installation is complete. They will schedule an additional full thermostat and system walkthrough if you would like one and collect any outstanding payments.

Post-Installation Documentation

After install, you will a digital or physical invoice (or both it is up to your preference) that contains the model and serial number of every unit installed. The invoice will also contain information explaining all of your warranties in detail. All warranties are registered by Delta on your behalf so that you are protected. Delta will also take care of all documents relating for government or manufacturer rebates on your behalf.

1-Year No-Charge Inspection

Every furnace installation receives a no charge inspection 1 year after install to make sure the unit is operating within the manufacturer specifications.
